Ava Ivy (she/her/hers)

Ava Ivy has more than 30 years of experience managing human resources, shaping high-performing organizational cultures, and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. She was a Captain in the U.S. Army and has supported companies spanning a wide range of industries throughout her career, including Enesco, Cosi, Kraft, PwC, and Coors Brewing Company among others. Prior to joining EdNavigator, Ava served as HR Leader for Cards Against Humanity and as Chief Administrative Officer for Northern Seminary in Lisle, Illinois. She holds a PhD in Business Organization and Management from Capella University in Minneapolis and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in communication from Southern Illinois University. She and her husband live in Great Lakes, Illinois.
