Daniela Melo (she/her/hers)

Daniela has over a decade of experience working as a special educator, bilingual educator and instructional leader. At KIPP Austin in Austin, Texas, she launched a first-in-the-region self-contained bilingual program for elementary students with low-incidence disabilities, as well as a structured classroom for students with profound autism and significant cognitive disabilities. She has also worked in international education, most recently in Singapore. Daniela has a B.A. in Human Communication Disorders from Universidad de las Américas in Mexico City, and a Master’s in Special Education from the University of Texas at Austin. In her spare time, you can find her traveling, exploring new food, and reading.
