School Readiness & Success
Being ready for school means a lot more than buying the right kind of pencils. It means knowing what’s ahead and being proactive in supporting your child’s success. Our School Readiness and Success Navigators help families start their school experience strong and continue to thrive from kindergarten through 12th grade.

It might sound obvious, but the best way to support your child’s success in school is to make sure they get a strong start in the first place.
Research confirms it: Decades of studies show that children who enter kindergarten behind tend to stay behind throughout their educational journey.
With that in mind, it’s never too early to start getting your child ready for their first day at school. Our School Readiness and Success Navigators include experienced early childhood educators who help families with 3-5 year-olds encourage healthy early learning and reading habits, build the academic and social skills kids will need in the classroom, and successfully navigate the transition into kindergarten.
After a positive kindergarten experience, we focus on helping families be proactive and make sure their children continue to thrive in school every year afterward. Our Navigators dedicate particular attention to the transitional years between elementary and middle school and middle and high school, because those are the times when many students fall off their path. At every grade along the way, we help parents and caregivers understand the critical educational milestones their child should reach, monitor their progress, and encourage their success.
“My Navigator was extremely helpful through the hybrid learning school year during the pandemic for my daughter in kindergarten. She answered all of my questions, provided incredibly useful advice for roadblocks, and pointed me to resources that were also useful for supporting my daughter's academic and social / emotional needs.”
