Shantelle Wright (she/her/hers)

A proud resident of the District of Columbia, Shantelle D. Wright has dedicated her 20-year career to eradicating inequality and advancing educational excellence. Prior to joining EdNavigator as Chief Program Officer in 2021, she was the Founder and CEO of Achievement Prep, an award-winning charter school network in Washington, DC that prepares students in Ward 8 to excel in high school, college, and beyond. Shantelle was selected as one of 13 outstanding leaders to complete the Building Excellent Schools (BES) fellowship, a highly competitive, yearlong training program in urban charter school creation and leadership. She is also a licensed attorney with a JD from The George Washington University School of Law and holds a BA in Sociology from Hampton University.
