Becca Tisdale (she/her/hers)

Becca brings to EdNavigator almost two decades of experience in K-12 education. Most recently, Becca was the Executive Director of Talent Pipelines and Professional Growth at Detroit Public Schools Community District, where she developed programs and partnerships to recruit new talent and develop existing staff members. Before her time at DPSCD, Becca spent nine years at the national education nonprofit TNTP, where she developed and launched multiple teacher training and certification programs and advised school and district leaders in school districts across the country on their academic and talent strategies. Becca started her education career in the classroom, where she spent nine years as a special education teacher. Becca is an alum of Western Michigan University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She earned a master's degree in curriculum and instruction at Michigan State University. Becca lives in East Lansing, Michigan with her wife and daughter.
