Ana Menezes (she/her)

Ana Menezes is Chief Learning and Knowledge Officer at Attuned Education Partners. Previously, Ana served for five years as Chief Academic Officer at Alliance College Ready Public Schools in Los Angeles. In this role, Ana re-envisioned the network’s approach to curriculum, instruction, and assessments, and she oversaw the implementation of academic support services across school sites. During Ana’s tenure, Alliance schools achieved double digit growth in proficiency in ELA and Math and significantly outperformed California proficiency gains for Special Education students. Prior to her work at Alliance, Ana was a Vice President at TNTP. In this role, she led strategic partnerships with large urban districts, charter management organizations, and state departments of education to improve educational outcomes for marginalized students. Ana also set the vision for and launched TNTP’s academic strategy client services. Ana began her career in education as an elementary school teacher in New York City. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and Communications from Boston College, an M.S. for Teachers from Pace University, and an M.A. in Education with a focus on Policy, Organization and Leadership Studies from Stanford University.
